Gustav Plato and John Bryant are Co-Founders of It's Just Results and Eric Vanderveer joined in 2019. We formed It's Just Results to focus on helping business owners and leaders improve the results they get from investing in security, improving security maturity; and guiding companies in achieving compliance with regulatory frameworks such as the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) 252.204-7012; National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-53, NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF); New York DFS 23 NYCRR 500; SOC 2 Pre-audits; California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA); General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); ISO 27001 and the latest regulations such as Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act.
We have been counseling companies to have an information security and compliance discussion and assigned responsibilities at the executive table. We also bring the collective experience and leadership to help companies establish the link between business, technology, security and compliance from a strategic and operational perspective. Our experience teaches us that automation and tools lower the cost of security and compliance, but that should never come at the expense of strategy and coordinated implementation. As a result we can customize every project to the client’s needs so that what gets started gets finished and we do so cost effectively through the technology and tools we can bring to the table.
Gustav leads project delivery for security and compliance audits and advisory services. This includes security and compliance strategy, assessments and delivery of cultural change with managed services offerings. He understands how people, tools and technology, and process fit together. Gustav works to identify and select vendor partners. He works with clients to define the goals, metrics, and cadence for all of our projects. He has previously worked for Coopers & Lybrand, IBM, and other boutique consulting firms.
Eric's understanding of managing infrastructures and networks helps clients form a better understanding of how technology works. He weaves in his deep expertise in security to bring a variety of solutions to our clients including designing and implementing security architectures for DFARS, and NIST; implementing and managing security managed services; incident response, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and social engineering analysis and prevention.
